Benchmark tool crashing?

Anyone else benchmark tool crashing on startup?

man if only they like, idk. Reeled in the visual scope of the game, so it worked on hardware from Right Now instead of theoretical hardware from 8 years from now

Was crashing even before shader compilation. Had to update AMD driver + Windows 11 update to work properly.

I have a 4070 Super and I'm crashing at 4K/60 High Settings, when I play other games at around the same settings/resolution. It's BONKERS.

Crashed while fiddling settings also the background on the menu is stuttering

Also crashing right after choosing languages. The beta ran pretty smooth. AMD Ryzen 5500k and 3070ti

anyone got the benchmark to run with 16gb ram?

I was having the same problem. Instant crash when opening the benchmark. I read others say to update drivers. I have a ASUS TUF (AMD) laptop and it came with Adrenaline Edition installed. This was not showing a new driver update. I checked the software's version and it said I had a version from June 2024, so I went to the AMD site and downloaded Adrenalin again, Installed it and restarted the laptop. Surely enough, Adrenalin was outdated based on some UI changes compared to the previous version I had and also the obvious new driver update prompt which was not being shown before.

Long story short, I updated Adrenalin, drivers, restarted system and managed to run the benchmark just fine.

only started crashing for me when i turn on frame generation i have a 7900 xt

Disabled the Steam overlay UI and restarted my PC. Fixed the issue right up.

oh man that the reason i don't trust at all AMD when it come with they're GPU yes they are great but oh my god they are unstable

Had to completely nuke my drivers using the AMD Driver remover tool and reinstall just to get it working
