Steam added that to every game nothing special!
It's been like that for a long time, they're just adding transparency.
I don't know if you have DVDs but if you bothered reading the disclaimers of the fact that what you have is a non-commercial license and you can get in trouble for using the DVD outside of a private setting. Hell, even on VHS you'll often see that disclaimer because all you bought was a license

This is inevitable. Thanks to piracy this is the new trend. It's just publishers and developers protecting their investments.

Thats why i prefer consoles which still somewhat has physical media, its incredibly stupid to pay 70 bucks just to rent a game, its insane.

Like I said, the physical disks are STILL just a license. You don't own the game.

On top of that physical disks don't come with all of the data, just a portion. Most games are so big these days that they cannot fit on a single disk.

This is the unfortunate reality of the digital age. It's also one of the reasons that website such as GoG exist.

Not all, many come with the full game, final fantasy games for example which are huge are still on the disc, RDR2 is 2 discs etc, its only some games that dont come fully on disc and those games i boycott. I only pay for digital games when its deep discount, other than that i only buy physical games which are fully on disc.

Then you should wait a few months or even a year so you can get these games on discounts, it shouldnt cost this much if we dont even get to own the games we pay for.

Which is fine, but then why are you on steam where all games are digital if you boycot games which do not sell their games on a single disk?

Its very special because it means you own zero games on steam and they can be removed at any time.

i meant console games, the games i get on steam i wait until they are deeply discounted, i would never pay full price for a rental game.
