This. I'm in the UK and it seems pretty rare over the years that a new game doesn't release at 6pm GMT
On capcom's website it says steam pre-orders end at 5am utc on the 28th, which is 4pm for me. I also checked the pre-order page on Fanatical and it seems to be counting down to that same time. I feel like it could change, because that time doesn't match other recent capcom games like Dragons Dogma 2 but who knows.
I'll be honest buddy, regardless of how hyped I am about this launch or any other, taking a day off nowadays generally revolves around sitting there refreshing web page after web page due to server outage and various dev hiccups for few days or so.
We may have a smooth launch and it could be the best evening ever, and this is the best we can ever hope for, yet I am a realist and despite good intentions, I expect the usual pitchforks and moans on these boards come launch day. Simply put, save that day off for a long weekend a few weeks after launch.
