What Collabs would you like to see most in the next game? (Personally Yakuza would be wild)

Eitherway, I dont like layered armor crossovers.

Better have real crossover like a new mon.

FFXIV Omega protocol would be cool.
Both actually. Love the game, while Reddit is not the best place to share the love of it.
I would say I like the layered armour collaborations, but I do like the ones that do a bit more too. For example Final Fantasy mission of Giant Kulu Ya Ku, or Behemoth. Same goes for Witcher mission. I know people find Resident Evil one a bit lacklustrer. For me, the taunt you unlock and it being integrated into the Elder Dragon fight was really fun idea.

Taunts, skins, missions. All of them I like. Still, don't want to over push it. It still has to be Monster Hunter universe (like Geralt of Rivia coming via portal, same with Moogles).

Recently finished MHGU, saw few collabs that were continuing on the next games. So I assume they will be dong more Final Fantasy and Witcher, while I would like to think which franchise would fit this series as next big collab. Yakuza series might sound weird, but as I huge fan of them, I would be happy with simple Layered Armor.

Of course for Monster Fights, games made by FromSoftware would be really cool idea. Read some posted here already, ton of very interesting ideas like Metal Gear. :mhwgood:

Not really collaborations as it is the same franchise. But I don't understand why someone would put a clown on it. Yeah, of course it is a good idea to have internal collaborations. Funny thing, never heard of Monster Hunter Puzzle

I'd rather internal collabs than seeing effort put into fights like Behemoth or Leshen that go against the core gameplay of MH. Especially when the rewards are horribly game breaking, or horribly useless/ugly. Even the devs themselves have said they weren't happy that they put more effort into collabs than their base roster of World. I'm fine with collabs being at most Guild Card decorations, or layered armor/weapons, but that's it. I liked the growing Kulu over Behemoth, because it felt more like a traditional MH collab than behemoth itself.
no collabs, they should put their ressources into new monsters and refining everything else.
I really liked the endgame island of Iceborne where you could develop the territories.
Or your homeroom, or the interaction with your Palico or caught animals.
Pokemon or Palworld would be funny. But I think an Elden Ring crossover would be really cool and interesting.

I think they did a great job with Iceborne. We got ton of content, as well as we got collaborations. Sometimes Collaborations are just a fun addition. I don't want them to become the Focus. But, I kind of like seeing small part of gaming culture being involved to promote this gem of a series.
I expect collabs with other Capcom properties. I think Street Fighter 6 stuff is pretty likely given SFV had stuff in World and SF6 is about to get a slew of updates. I also think some DMC stuff is likely given the Netflix show is coming out later in 2025. I wouldn't be surprised by Dante and Lady layered armor sets since the show seems to pull from DMC3 the most. Might just get something from DMC5 though as they use the same engine.

I am also hoping for some Okami stuff in the future with Okami 2 on the horizon. Rise got Amaterasu as a palamute armor, but I'm not sure what Wilds would get. Seeing a Sekiret dressed up in a way to resemble Amaterasu, with the cel shaded paintbrush aesthetic, might be cool.

There's nothing I can think of that I would really love to see from a non-Capcom franchise. I think some kind of collab with the new Ueda game that looks like Shadow of the Colossus, but with robots, could be cool. That would be years off in the making though. Probably once the expansion for Wilds comes out.
I miss the old nintendo collabs. I want plumbers to follow me around!
As for what I think is most likely to happen. Final Fantasy crossover for sure, probably Bahamut. I can see them doing a Dragons Dogma 2 crossover. adding some weapons, maybe fighting a Chimera skin over Zinorge :boomer:

Would love to see Final Fantasy again, Behemoth was a ton of fun, I love Dragoon a lot, but I also hope they expand on it (maybe multiple class armors/weapons)

Zelda would be cool, the monster hunters that were exclusively on Nintendo consoles had references to it, even Metroid got a armor set and gun.

Nier Automata would be cool, since Wilds seems to have ancient ruins tech mysteries going on, could bring in something

They've done JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in a previous title, so maybe other animes too?
-Berserk
-Attack on Titan
as examples.

I liked the Devil May Cry collab, bring something back for that add in Vergil.

Super Conga Bros was one of the best quests. I hope with the monke back, they have some silly stuff with events.
