So happy Capcom will ban cheaters in Wilds
It's such great news Capcom will be banning cheaters who use mods in wilds because they ruin the gaming experience for everone.

You... You can. People were doing full ass hunts in single player after the beta closed.

Nope, you can't make tranq bombs in the beta right now because the official servers are down and when you loot items it doesnt get added to your inventory.

Also you can't pick up anymore honey.

I doubt Wilds will require an internet connection to play regardless of solo only.

That seems like a backwards thing to do.

maybe the problem comes from the crack you used to play the beta offline mate
Nobody is getting banned from this game no matter how much they mod. There are tons of people already over hunter rank 500 using tons of mods and they are playing online in lobbies just fine. Capcom cannot afford to ban people just like the Anti-Cheat they use is the cheapest one they could possibly get and it is absolute trash, doesn't detect a single thing.

They had a system in Rise that would render cheated charms unusable.

They need to do the same with attack power and skills too.

If your attack power > theoretical max with best gear, all buffs then you get reduced to that max.

♥♥♥♥ people who join coop hunts and one shots monsters with 100k hp.

You say "thanks" this game had no PvP, as previous MH. Although if it had PvP, then they had to get better anti-cheat ofc.

makes no sense, they could ban the cheaters and require they buy another copy of the game to pay for their anti-cheat labor

This is misinformation, nothing in place gives Capcom any control over modding Wilds.

All inventory is controlled by the server now. AKA they can see if your cheating.
all credibility you had went out the window, your item counts are in your save data not on a server, youre talking out your butt
This aged like milk.

in world, they had a "competition" mode with the arena leaderboards. As you can guess, it was cheated to oblivion with the top people completing in 0 seconds. Capcom is never ever going to care about mods to ban people
All it takes is one person, having a modded client in an official event like Street Fighter, publicly shaming the game with a cheated version of it and they will roll out the ban wave. :auimp:

Capcom hasnt banned anyone since MH Tri iirc. However, this game does have crossplay now, so I can see Capcom banning people if PC players are gonna make Console players annoyed with iron Long Swords doing 10k damage among other nonsense like DPS meters, harmless by itself but those who use it are toxic af.
Haven't found any cheaters so far.

This game detection must be based on Souls 3. Anti-Social will be put in Anti-Social until the morale improves.

You are under assumption that there are bans in this game.

There are not, CAPCOM did not do any Monster Hunter bans for many years. They simply are not doing that, so people can mod whatever they want.
There HAVE been bans going out for people who modded MH:Wilds now, however the bans are only for people who have gotten official DLC without paying so far.

Or so this says: https://www.reddit.com/r/MHWilds/comments/1jdk4fk/multiplayer_modders_are_starting_to_get_perma/

Ran into one cheater so far.

They were 100% critting with their bow. Every single shot.

"Maybe they had an affinity build"

It was an early game story mission and they were HR 2. So definitely not the case.

But only 1 cheater.

They did ban some "modder" but a specific type that hurts CAPCOM wallet, like hack all costs DLC in for free.
