capcom says 1080p / 60 fps (with Frame Generation enabled), "Medium" graphics setting on 2070/4060

so i guess you are fine with high

On the release nobody knows, in the demo you're more limited by a 6 core CPU, so more like in the 60 fps range.

The 3080 will be fine for 1440p medium, it will be held back a little bit by the 5600X, it's a very cpu heavy game.

Your CPU will bottleneck for sure. With some tests it looks like this game likes a lot of cores and high CPU-frequency for sure.

Indeed, but I have the same CPU, good enough for the performance they are asking for.

JUST lol. I overclocked mine.

Its the 80 fps (without framegen) that i doubt to happen.

The System:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9900X
GPU: Sapphire RX6900XT Nitro+ SE
RAM: 64GB 6000MT/s cl34
NVME: WD_Black_N850
OS: Windows 11 64bit Pro

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NOA03nntMck
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIWjgo88_WI

Maxed Settings (Native): 70 FPS
Medium Settings (Native): 74 FPS
Low-End Settings (Native 76 FPS

Maxed Settings (FSR/Frame Generation): 141 FPS
Medium Settings (FSR/Frame Generation): 148 FPS
Low-End Settings (FSR/Frame Generation 149 FPS

Not even i could reach 80 without framegen. So a 5000 series will most likely stick to 60 fps max. (if they do not optimise the game compared to the last beta).

I had 75fps+ without framegen, 5600X + 7800XT, 1440p High/Ultra with medium shadows.

How did you manage that? You would be the 1st and only one ever achiving it so far with that CPU. What are your OC settings and RAM adjustments?

That was when it was stock, waiting to see what improvements I get from OC on the 2nd OBT.

With FrameGen I was comfortably hitting over 110fps.
ackchually chud, it wan fine for me on my i5 9400F + gtx 1030 ti on ultra 4k 240fps xD. uwu methinks you need to upgwade youw PC two a 9950X3D + nvidia slopforce RTX 5090 ti rx xtx xD. And at least 83 gigabwyte of dedicated wam hurhue. Anywayz metwinks im gwoing to mwake a swnack of 4 50-inch pwizzas hehehe. (im 8000000000 KG morbidly a beast.)

ah yeah, i was asking native rendering. Since not everyone likes FSR/frame gen because of input delay and personly i would say, next to FPS, Monster Hunter games are these where input delay can mean death.

Yeah, over 70fps native rendering (except in the starter village because everyone tanks there).

Pretty sure anyway, been a couple months now.

I can play on high with custome settings in various departments on my 2070 at 60 fps and as far as I can tell I couldn't enable frame gen it's grayed out as if it doesn't support it.

However you do have to adjust some settings to be lower to get those frames but it's possible having it look nice and keep 60fps on a 2070.

thank you everyone for the feedback. guess my CPU is the bottleneck. may need to seek some advice on which graphic setting to lower but still look visually nice and have good fps during fierce combat.

Turning on frame generation if you have to, that can increase your fps by 50-100% without affecting CPU performance. There's some drawbacks but thats the quickest way without doing any sort of hardware or software modification.
