Being MR9 with full fatty gear is tho.
Seen that several times.
Grouped up with someone yesterday that was 250 MR and 250 HR. Literally impossible combination.
Hardcore cheats like 1 shotting monsters or invincibility are super rare.
More common are hacking in items/gear. Or having every deco slotted at once.
Those players are generally garbage, but joining SOSs you generally understand coop can be a mixed bag.
I don’t consider those cheats on the same level of 1 shotting monsters.
I know SOS is a mixed bag. I play 99% of the games via SOS.
Some quest requirements should not be MR 24 but MR 70+ cause theyr harder then gold and silver rath.
You have a choice with who to play ( make a lobby and kick people who are suspicious to you OR just play with friends which is how this game supposed to be played ;)
The last thing I want is another half-assed solution to a problem in a form of some russian kernel level anti-cheat.
We already have Steam DRM, Denuvo and most likely Capcom's anti modding Enigma. Do we really need ANOTHER resource hogging background process that collects or creates vulnerabilities for our PC?
Be an ADULT for once and stop asking government I mean in this case Developer for solution s. The last thing we want is less FPS, more data collecting, unfair shadow banning or worse...
One huge issue in Rise was manipulated Anomaly Investigations. Where shared manipulated Anomaly Investigations could result in corrupted savegames of all who joined. What was most importantly a problem if you joined via SOS signal/blind wildcard.

So yeah, cheaters were a huge issue that it needed even to be publicy addressed.
Ones that ARE detectable are stuff like modifying passives, making items that cant be real, modifyign your dmg/OHK, etc. these are ones people don't like encountering (as it defeats purpose of game.)
They are rare, but they exist and its more an honort system to be fair. (which msot are)
