It does suck that the Assist Type Kinsect has been relegated to Focus Mode, but I guess it's better to consider it a buff to making every Kinsect an Assist type. However, it does make Focus Mode pretty much mandatory for Insect Glaive to get that constant DPS boost. Won't stop me from using the Kinsect for Dust, though.

I'm going to be trying some heavy hitting blunt Kinsects to see how usable Focus strikes will be for KO's.

I'm hoping that the focus strikes + kinsect charge will make speed less important of a statistic, but we'll see.

With the inclusion of the Offset at the start of Strong Descending Slash, I imagine a lot more IG mains are going to feel emboldened to try out blunt Kinsects and see how viable it can be to keep aggro and stun.

I'm curious what the second, yet to be revealed thing for the beta is. For those who dont know, the Wilds website states the beta is the same as before, except is has gypceros and an unknown thing.

We have 2 dates coming up for betas.

They will just "release" another monster to the "3rd" beta test.

Some people predict Arkveld as MH likes adding title monsters to their Demo, but this isn't a demo.

If it's quemetrice, I'd rather him be the initial announcement instead. I like gyp, dont get me wrong, but a new monster should have been the reveal, not a returning. Could be one of the datamined monsters, but I personally hope it's not arkvaald.

If the game is running bad in this upcoming BETA then yea the launch is going to be just as bad if not worst. They don't have the luxury of months of development time to try and fix it while also working on other things. The beta is almost right on the heels of the full game, what we see is almost certainly what we are getting.

last time it had details saying first date is for PS5 players and 2nd for pc

They literally said they haven't improved on the beta at all, and that all improvements have been made to the FULL game. The beta is the exact same build as it was before... The fact that people like this don't read the updates is exactly why this was an absolute terrible idea. The amount of damage this is going to do to them is insane.

extremely funny to me they're releasing essentially the same beta again with none of the supposed improvements they've done for the game at all. It's like they know this game will sell regardless and don't care what will be said about it.
