Shared Storage?
Should the game have shared storage between characters in an account?

Say you have a solo char and then your multi player character you play with your friends with. Transferring mats between them, should it be a feature?

What about actual trading system between Friends?

Since it will probably be an online always required, why not throw in an auction house type system??

Just.... Make a set of gear to match where your friend is at?

My friend was done with Rise on PC when I got it on PC (already beat it and Sunbreak on Switch) and he just asked where my gear was at and made a matching set for what I had unlocked.

i dont get the multi/single split: just wear different gear, you can hold both on a single character and its not like there are levels to cause disparity: your HR999 self and your HR1 friend wearing iron armor will have the same stats.

trading: maybe? i dont see an issue with it personally, but i doubt i'd care to use it with my friends, we'd just hunt some more

no to the auction house, this is a single player/co-op game, not an always online mmo.

That's why I never buy anything in the game while spending hundreds $$$ each year within couple actual MMOs (Diablo 4, for example) :lunar2019scowlingpig: The devs/publisher have no idea how to maximize profit, apparently :lunar2019crylaughingpig: Just like they have ignored PC auditory for 15 years to find that Monster Hunter World became a major PC bestseller instantly.

RNG sucks. Some people just have better luck than others. That is to say, handouts won't solve the issues.
Who wants to make a new character just to have post credit gear?
Id be ok if people could trade the same rarity items for eachother, eg. a gem for a different gem (or just expand the amount of items we can give to players a little bit would be nice). But we already had a mechanic related to this in the past few games and id rather they keep that then be required to rely on other players for it

Shared storage in an account? You mean every save slot you use has the exact same items? It will never happen, because whats stopping you from making a new char but using endgame items from your other char to get ahead of other players. It goes against a core part of MH to be superior to other players beyond their control, same reason we dont have p2w gear and ♥♥♥♥.
and wilds will most likely not be 'online always required', we already saw the pause button in the menu. MHW was the only exclusion to that rule because they were testing the new lobby system and pushing features that only worked through them, and you could still play the game offline despite that anyway
Can't tell if that last bit is bait or not. Trading has never been a staple of Monster Hunter for obvious reasons, and will likely never be. The Hunter has to gather those materials themselves, because what the hell else are you going to do if you can just get the materials you need from other people? Hunt monsters? For what? Your friend can give you dozens of materials to make any piece of gear you could ever want.
The ONLY kind of trading I'd personally be alright with in Monster Hunter is being able to exchange quest rewards or drops gathered in that one quest, and only with the Hunters who took part in it. That way, if you're helping your friend farm a Mantle, but you end up getting it three times instead, you can opt to trade it for a throwaway material like a Claw.
99% of the time your solo char is gonna be further than your multiplayer one in this case, just play the solo one and dont sell your old gear so you can use it with your lower tier friends and you should usually have enough mats laying around to craft lower tier stuff for other weapons if your like me and change things up when playing with lower progression players.

I definitely see the logic in it. In past times quests would be locked behind story progression so we would sit and be like.. okay what runs can you play, what runs don't you have.. etc.. so this would just be nice to have an even field. One of my friends just goes balls to the wall and will max out within a week or 2 while I have the middle ground and then some of our other friends are only on once or twice a month so we usually have a character to play with each group so we all can "progress together". Removing the OP factor and keeping the challenge for those with less FaceTime.

That was more of the idea like how phantasy star online does it. Only people in the run can trade with each other for XYZ amount of time after the hunt. Sometimes the RNG favors one of us more so than the others.

i hope it does not have to much Hollywood in it it look like fun

Trading ruins the total ethos of the game of being a hunter. The game isn't economy driven, it's hunt driven. You hunt. You don't barter.
