Whatever is more comfortable for you. I'm still sticking with my PS4 controller, because PS5 controllers are too fat. I really don't know what Sony was thinking when they changed the design of the controller for PS5, because they were perfectly fine as they were.

the 8bitdo is a pretty nice, xbox style controller. Would recommend that.

Dualsense is definitely the best option right now. All Xbox controllers - even those with halleffect sensors - have an unfathomably large deadzone. Ps is better for precision. You can get it working without problems using ds4windows.

There is no need to be this antagonistic towards someone who intends to find the better option. It's best to keep your insecurities to yourself. I don't mean no offense but if you respond to simple question in that manner then it speaks quite volumes of your character and life.

PS5 controller has own features such as adaptive trigger and built-in motion sensor, which only playing Wilds on PS5 version will make these features active.

So basically it is just a matter of whichever controller you prefer. I have many PS5 controllers, but I will play Wilds on PC with Xbox controller. One of the reasons is that it is more affordable for replacement.

use the controller you like, i use nintendo pro, work just as good, and better for certain games. So find the one you like to use.

tried once switch pro and i never looked back, incredibly responsive and comfy and works perfectly well with everything too.

sticking with ps5 controller but i personally think xbox 1 is the better to use

PS controllers mess with the arthritis in my left hand after an hour or two of gaming, Xbox dosent, and has always felt better so Xbox for me, but thats me.

I thought so at first too, but the Dual Sense is far more comfortable than the DS4 controller. But I also had the same thought swapping from PS2 to PS3 and PS3 to PS4 controllers. The minute changes always throw me off and then I end up liking the newer one more after a while.

im playing on ps5 so i guess im using a ps5 controller myself
but in all seriousness i vastly prefer ps controllers because they are more comfortable. i even tried my new ps5 ones on pc too but my only issue was they seemed to go flat super fast for whatever reason, much faster than my super old squeaky trigger ps4 ones. So i would recommend a ps4 controller lol

Personally I use an xbox elite controller (I've used my series 1 for years and it still works great, and it still gets hardware updates), but that is mainly because I was raised with an xbox360. Next to that, I have BIG hands (I'm one of those people where if you look at any nail, it is more wider then long xd) and therefore prefer the stick layout of the xbox controller. The last benefit of an xbox controller on pc is that you don't need steam translation layers, and therefore can use the controller on any game through any storefront (in case you picked up something for free on e.g. epic games that you want to play with controller).

Other then that, if you prefer the ps controller layout. Just go with that! It is all about what feels good in YOUR hands. I'd suggest go to a store and just feel both of em out (or ask any friend).

In case your going to buy an xbox controller, please do it on the Microsoft site. You can fully customize your controller collor scheme, button types etc for no extra cost!!! (there are a few premium parts that add like 1 dollar extra to the price, but those are clearly indicated). This is truely the best thing about microsoft controller IMHO. As a reference, I bought a controller for my GF to play It takes 2, and she went full ham on the customizer and LOVES the result. Delivery takes about 3 days for me, but depends on country.
