Not touching this unless another 5060ti owner can confirm it's stable.

You have nothing to lose by trying them, with the RTX 5080 they run smoothly, I did tests and there are no closures.

'bout a couple hours of installing, shader cache, uninstalling, installing, and shader cache if it doesn't work better than the current, give or take. It's fine, I'll wait for someone to confirm.

Then what the ♥♥♥♥ are you doing in this thread, replying to my post, if you have absolutely nothing to say about what's being discussed?

Lemme guess, you're running the game on an HDD instead of SSD?

RTX5080.
5800X3D.
64gb ram.
Just did a clean install.
The game has also been re-installed on a m.2 WD SN770 Black (honestly an needed upgrade that was way overdue, not just for MHW lol)

As of now, MHW is the only game in my current game rotation that still suffers from crashes. And watching monitoring tools while playing still exhibits the same weird instant CPU and GPU spike to 100% that triggers the crashes. It's repeatable mostly on fast camera turns regardless of the area, but the crash can still occur randomly even without moving.
Imma keep testing different settings in NVCP (g-sync, reflex, v-sync, all that jazz) and in game. But I think it's safe to say (based from my experience at least) that the ball really is on capcom's side now.

Like sure it never ran buttery smooth and had spikes since launch, things that did not bother me too much personally ( I grew playing Perfect Dark N64, that Chicago level with the hi-res option on... IYKYK lol) but at least the game was playable because it would not crash (either with my 5080 or 3080 before upgrade). It's really only after the patch that introduced the new hub that the crashes arrived.

Such a weird state for this engine to be running so badly...I have played all the new RE games on this engine and never had this much trouble. That being said, I did read that Dragon's Dogma 2 had similar issues, but I have not played it so I can't comment on that.

Let's hope they finally figure what is wrong before any major new content drops.
