How to NOT Release Guard With GS After a PG?
Okay, one problem I have with GS's perfect guard is that it will put you in an animation where you released the guard and sends the GS to the shoulder back (as if going to do a charged slash) after doing a perfect guard. Holding the guard button however still left a gap of not guarded which enough for multi-hits attack to land.

For example, blocking Zoh Shia wide front sweep > gets hit by the after explosion or blocking AT Rey Dau's long vertical sweep > takes hit from the after bolt if not dodging.

Unlike other blocking weapon, it feels as if better to not PG then rather than still taking a hit from the after attack. Am I doing something wrong here or there is specific thing to do after PG to cancel into guard again?

Sounds like an input issue on your side. I cannot confirm that. When perfect guard then it remains guard, and leaves no gap, unless you release the hold or make another input.
