Seikret riding to be removed due to Nintendo patent?
Recently, due to a patent dispute, Pocketpair was forced to remove "mount gliding" in their video game "Palworld".

Due to this, would it mean that Capcom would also be required to remove Seikret riding from MHWilds, as it would it would infringe on Nintendo's patent? Would not removing this mechanic result in a lawsuit?

I mention this because seikret mounts and the capacity to glide on them, are major game mechanic in MHWilds.
Nintendo doesn't aim to big companies, so no.

Not going to happen.

In what game?
The patent they did was using animal companions as actual gliders (with a stick to hold onto). You are on top of the Seikret when it's gliding. If Nintendo tries to sue for THAT, they can get counter-sued for other companies that did that previously.

That's not really how IP law works: being in a suit is bad, and Japanese law especially doesn't care about hypocrisy.

Well, Nintendo was specfically targeting the "Dynamic Mounts" system, Its just that if this is enforced, it would mean that any other game, including MHWilds, would have to follow this too, right?

Dynamic mounts, being:

A: Player gets on a creature
B: Use that creature for transport
C: Use that creature for transport in the air
