MH Wilds Options menu phantom inputs directly related to frame drops/microstuttering.
So I've been experiencing these random inputs ONLY in the options menu since release. The menu would spaz out (back me in and out of the current selection several times) at pretty consistent intervals (about every 6 seconds). I was excited to get into the game so I powered through and set up my options as needed and sort of ignored the issue.

Fast forward to a few days ago, I noticed that this seemingly random "stuttering" was also occurring at very consistent intervals (roughly 6 seconds apart) while playing the game, and I thought that can't be a coincidence. I throw on the Steam fps counter and on a fresh start of the game go directly into the options menu, and sure enough every time the options would freak out, my menu frames would drop from 90ish fps to 40ish fps.

I did some digging, and tried some solutions provided by other users. The main issue everyone else seemed to be experiencing was related to controller inputs, but I unplugged LITERALLY EVERYTHING besides my PSU and Display cables, and I still get these phantom option menu inputs.

Also to note, the inputs do not manifest during gameplay, only in the form of stuttering/framerate drops.

System Info:
CPU: Ryzen 7 9800X3d
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3090
RAM: G.Skill 32GB (2x16) 6000MHz DDR5

I've tried messing with the graphics settings (DLSS on and off, etc.) changing some of the config.ini parameters, and deleting the cache. None of if made any difference. I don't think this is a component issue since again, I've unplugged everything besides my power and monitor cable, and I still get the random inputs in the options menu along with the frame drops.

Anyone have any suggestions or experience something similar?

That reminds me of a very old issue related to Xbox Gamepads software.

Does the issue persists when using REFramework?
