Unwanted item bar changes

While in hunts lately it feels like the item bar changes what item I'm on on its own. Hunting AT Rey and I'm going for my max potions and when I let left bumper go it suddenly changed to my paint pods on the item bar(resulting in my death). Anyone else having this problem?

I notice that sometimes it changes when I’m trying to trap a monster but tbh I fight the wheel more than anything else. It was great in world and rise idk why it’s so ♥♥♥♥♥ up in this game.
Sometimes when i bring it up with the bumper it’s already selected something and then when I quickly go to hit one thing it will select the thing it was already on instead.

Been killed fighting with it several times.

i definitely did encounter something like this, but it's with throwing knives, i dont know what i did to fix it or activate it later on, it is annoying and i have no clue what i touched to enable/disable it.

It's something to do with shortcuts. Like when you hold L1 and hit L2, it quickly selects your flash pod. Problem is, the way it is programmed. If you have toggle focus mode on, the game considers that you are holding L2 all the time, so when you hit L1, it thinks you're using the shortcut and selects your flash pod (or whatever you have in that category) for you. Which leads to another problem, it doesn't seem to be consistent. Sometimes it doesn't do it. Sometimes it doesn't do it when I deliberately hit the shortcut combination to select my flash pod.

We need to be able to turn it off.

Disable automatic reloading of the crossbow in the settings (Settings->Controllers->1st page) so that it does not select an item when closing the item bar.
