However I believe only the regular event is going away next week, the time challenge will still be running if you need AT Ray Dau stuff
Monster Hunter should have more graded quests as something to work towards.
Anyone can clear a quest, but not everyone can get A rank unless they get better at the game.
Anyone can, in fact, get S rank on that quest.
Actually i was watching an average streamer getting S rank on the challenge with all weapons, and she's not even that good.
Getting an A rank requires you to learn how to optimize your skills and use your weapon effectively. Sure it's not hard if you've played multiple MH, but for someone who's entering the series it's a pretty huge climb to get on that level. It promots learning far better than a wall does.
Free Challenge ATRD is just an inferior version of the Event ATRD. Can't capture, worse awards. I only did it for the stupid dangly things.
You'd have a point if it were any other quest... but A rank for ATRD Challenge is 13 minutes. 13 minutes. That should be C Rank, but apparently the bar has to be really freakin low this time. If anyone honestly has difficulty with it then they're probably doing something catastrophically wrong... like using the wrong element or manually walking all the way to thunderbowl on foot.
