Is your build just caca?
What are you even talking about?
I believe they're talking about other people getting mad when a ranged weapon user 'steals' a wound since some weapons use them to power up
a) you cannot steal a wound
b) it does not matter if it is ranged or not - there are melee weapons as well which do not use the wound to "power up their weapons"
Hunters just need to be considerate towards each other.
If I see a Long Sword users can make use of a wound, I leave it be unless it is not taken at all despite they could use their ultimate. If a wound it out of reach for a melee, why should I not take it when playing ranged? Just wait for the right moment to topple a monster, and every wound is valuable, no matter who takes it.
Besides, melee weapons do not need them to charge up their stuff. Relying on wounds too much is not good either.
that's why I put 'steal' in quotes like that, some people like to police how others play, whether OP got kicked for that reason or not we'll probably never know
So it's just ideal for melee users to want a bow users to pop the wounds. Because they can just keep attacking the monster.
