a time challenge quest that isn't an arena quest it's idiotic.
and if you're doing a time challenge quest u need to make sure every weapon is viable not just artian weapons, not all of us wants to use artian builds
How dare the game require you to interact with its systems! How dare the game expect basic knowledge of how to make a good setup and deal damage
How dare the game expect you to learn your weapon well
are u serious ? of course most weapons should be viable otherwise what is the point of having a weapon tree? what is the point of variety and options ? by your logic the game should just have one weapon type and artian only
Already did it on 12:50 minutes with randoms using duals, use traps and flash bombs to drop him from the air. go full ice damage and glass cannon build.
Is this your first MH game? , not every single weapon work perfectly on every monster.
you should learn to read comments first before posting some nonsense , I said I used the JIN DAHAAD GS, which has 600 ice element
and you played with randoms ? wow great you got carried by randoms and finished the quest in 12 mins wow amazing
I play solo dude, cause I actually got balls and skills , I don't need or want help from other players
I'm quite certain a GS should be able to handle this fight within... 13 minutes if I play it similar to SA.
The unique thing I'm seeing from runs by GS is using focus strike as a poking method if needed.
I've did a save without using IG as it's pretty much my cheat weapon at that point and managed.... a time slower than my IG but within A rank just to make myself learn SA.
Every single weapon can work on every monster, it's "perfect" if you mastered it, some weapons could suck against a particular weapon, but I don't think it's that bad with... some changes to gear to deal with stun.
GS/SA would have the issue of counter hits inducing stun on yourself if you kept countering and touched by something.
I'd use Sleep artian gs instead of ice.
lance should be the only weapon that can hard counter this cheap idiot and allow you to be consistently aggressive.
I used the Rey Dau Y set, getting 5 Agitator and only 1 WExploit.
I had to use the falling pillar, two flash pods, and when I mounted him I just went for the head wound, rather than opening two wounds.
