S rank is just what the japanese localization (and maybe some other asian localizations) refer to A rank as.

Anyway, I got A rank in my first try because I had already fought AT Rey like 20 times beforehand in the event quest and already knew my strat to take it down fast... 13 minutes is pretty forgiving though.

Well I got a 13:53 not knowing that you actually have to kill it. I was at 10 min as I tried a capture then it went back to his arena …

I got hit multiple times and couldn’t use the bolder… the damn thing just doesn’t go there.
I really need a strat for big damage in the first 3 min with bow or I will try some kind of cheese with hbg and frost ammo. I also only got like 4 wounds.

Btw it’s insane that we still have the obvious user names in the top 10 ranks still. I thought they wanted to ban them…

Man it's 13 minutes, everyone got it. If they don't they will either by doing it a second time or cheating. The only people not getting it is people who's not playing anymore.

In doubt switch weapons. You can use any equipment you like, after all.

I'm in a similar boat lol. Went in with an ice lance and got 19, switched to my trusty dragon lance while piling on DPS skills, food, items, etc, and got it down to 14. Just too high-stress for me so I think I'm gonna just try being content with the 2 other pendants, and happy for those that can get it ^^

The good thing about it: most people who unlocked the pendants do not even used it once in multiplayer to show off.

And I do not know anyone in multiplayer who ever noticed a special time challenge pendant.
