co-op confuses me
Doing the story campaign with a friend. Have the lobby and link party setup. My question is, my friend goes to the monster spot to kill he Alpha Dogmushan for example - then I get an accept quest intie thingy chat message (we are already in linked party). I click on Accept and it sends me back to my nearest camp and I have to run back to my friend. Is this how it always works? Always having to run back to my friend.
Then some times when I run back i dont even see my friend any m ore. We are so confused how co-op is supposed to work

They definitely did a weird job with matchmaking in this game but yea that's how it's supposed to work if I'm reading this right.

Think of Camps and Bases as spawn points, if you join a mission it should drop you into whatever the nearest one to your friend/monster is - you can set up more camps, edit their locations, and things along those lines. Try to have them spread out across the environment.
Capcom wanting to add some in-game cutscenes but forgot to implement multiplayer elements into it. Or most likely, they just don't care. World was their best selling title anyway, and as they say, there's no need to fix what is not broken.
co op confused everyone and straight up didnt fix a single thing from past games but made it worse much like everything else in the game!
Yeah because of all the narrative scenes you get kicked back to load points from time to time.

Rise didn't have this problem as there were no in-mission cutscenes aside from monster introductions.
