Time Attack Event with NPCs?
Why the ♥♥♥♥ can't i do this WITHOUT them. This just makes it ridiculous. Meanwhile, you get into lobbies with brainlets that cart left and right

Who thought these time attack things were a good idea in ANY aspect of paper to development

you can do it without any extras, just go to your settings and turn off support hunters and leave the max number of participants at 1, you can even add a password on your lobby too while you're there in case you REALLY don't want anyone else around

Yeah, I hate support hunters anyway because I like having the aggro from the monster unless I'm actually playing with others like joining an SOS. So I set my support hunters setting to 'only players'

You should never see them again. And, if for some reason you do (like you join an SOS, you get disconnected and sent to a singleplayer version of the quest), I believe there's an option in the missions & quests tab of your menu to remove them mid-hunt. You never have to play with them if you don't want to.
This quest forces you into a mess of these awful awful bots.
And there doesn't seem to be a way to remove them.
I hate them so godam much, they turn the monster hunt into a spastic mess.

So, just for simplicity, for those looking to turn it off:

Go into the Quest Menu (Alma / Grand Hub Quest NPCs or the Tent)
Go the top and click on the gear icons in the top left to navigate to your settings
Click Multiplayer Settings and change it to 'Only Players'

Start the Free Challenge Quest, and you won't have to play with the Support Hunters.

The quest description clearly states people cannot join after starting.

Create a Public Lobby or join one where people are running the quest. Then people can just join you when you post. It's quite easy. Just have to use that single braincell.
welp i was expecting 10m goal.... w/e
