GTX 1660 Ti running fine, RTX series ♥♥♥♥'ed up or people are faking their hardware?
so many reviews and forum negatives yap about the performance with their RTX 3060, actually tries with old 1660 ti and was surprised that the game runs medium low mixed settings around 50+ FPS and lowest 40+ in battle. what's the big deal? Should've bought the game earlier and ignore the reviews ffs

The big deal is that anything below "high" with the high res texture pack looks like 3ds game.

I would find this somewhat ok running potato mode on a 1660. Not on anything above that. On the same note, I wouldn't complain if the particle effects (and the whole lighting system because why not) looked like a pixelated, tv staticky mess on a 1660. Not on literally anything else unless RTX is on.

Similarly, I would find somewhat okay if a 1660 could hold 50ish FPS with framegen, not so much a 3070.

The problem is that this game has very high performance requirements to look somewhat decent, and that it looks like pure garbage on anything below that.

People wanna run the game at 4k 120fps and get surprised when they realize the amount of power needed to run modern games at that resolution. If you run Wilds at 60 1080p you're gonna be fine but the screen is gonna look like a blurry mess because of TAA and the need of a 1440p monitor on modern titles because of the detail.

Still, the game is a mess that needs a lot of optimization like World on launch.
no problem with a 3060 ,and a amd processor 5800x
frame gen is so better with amd !
120 fps all the way on 1080 display

1080p and AMD FSR naive AA with framegen actually looks decent. But I see the reason why people complain now..

I mean if you consider the screenshots I just posted to be "decent" for a $70 asking price then its' fair I guess. But I hope you can understand that someone who has played literally anything else in the last 5 years might expect better peformance for what this game is (on anything above a floor-bottom tier GPU).

Good news is that World will blow your socks off if you haven't played it yet.

I have a 1660 and it runs on lowest for me...but i haven't experienced crashes, this and that...which is weird.

I’ve played Worlds enough I wouldn't go near it again.. It sure had some great visual effects, but the blur was extremely awful even with no AA and adjusted settings. Wilds definitely needs optimization, but people need to stop posting nonsense reviews. Complaints like “I have a 3080 and very low FPS” are ridiculous after actually trying the game. Graphics preferences vary from person to person but the game def playable and looks clean with right settings.

just doesn't make sense, rtx 3080 players report crash and having polygon monsters but I've experienced none yet with a outdated gpu (also outdated driver)

True. True.

either people are faking their gpu or rtx series under 4 is broken.

I cannot fathom how anyone would excuse this game needing framegen to reach 60 fps on a 3070 at 2k*, sorry. Particularly for a developer as big and with as good a track record of optimization as Capcom. On a $70 game.

Up to you if you consider this to be acceptable, but a gpu that can run cyberpunk on all "high", ray traced lighting on, at 2k60 without framegen should not be struggling nearly as much as it does with this game to deliver baseline acceptable graphics.

*I have a 3070. I've read similar reports on more powerful cards, but I cannot speak from experience.

I suppose the 1660 Ti is super cheap right now, why not pick one up and test it yourself? No need to record a video for a random stranger, also recording takes up power too, just try it out and share your results afterward.

I see the problem now, basically people are refusing to drop their ego and get the settings down? World and DD2 had trash optimization so I don't know what's your "good track record of optimization as capcom" Are yall new to capcom lmao. Just tweak your settings and the graphics wouldn't be baseline acceptable anymore, especially for a 3080 that's 2x more powerful than the old top gtx card. The biggest problem is people are giving fake reports such as "3080 can't run the game FPS very low" and scaring the players away.

Keep in mind that this game is CPU heavy.. maybe it could be the ignored CPUs.
