controller not being read properly

My steam input is correct, I'm not using any other third party software for keybinds. This is the only game that does this. It thinks my xbox controllers a/b and x/y are swapped which makes my controls on screen not work correctly with button inputs. Really aggrivating.

... I'm not sure if the game supports Nintendo style glyphs, which have swapped A/B and X/Y placement. Check the settings just in case.

At any rate, you can edit the steam controller layout from both your library and the in game overlay. Just swap the buttons around.

if they act swapped like that then you can just swap them on steams controller config for the game, assuming its not just a visual issue then it should work normally then

otherwise there might be an ingame option to swap the face buttons around, i dont remember

Works now, I deleted the steam input bindings and did them myself and now it works. Idk what the issue was, but whatever lol.

I'm not using a switch controller is the thing. It's a third party xbox controller.
