PS5 Controller causing random game crashes

I was experiencing fairly frequent game freezes and crashes and after following all the troubleshooting steps I tried switching from my PS5 controller to an EasyMX controller my brother loaned to me to test and ever since I swapped I have not had any freezing or crashing issues.

Not exactly sure what the issue is no other PC games I play have any issues when I play them with my PS5 controller only Wilds seems to have issues with it.

I remember there was an issue with that type of controller if you use it via bluetooth.

Did you try cable or bluetooth?

I was connected with a cable for the PS5 controller, with the EasyMax controller I am connected with bluetooth
