Sakuratide event armor - enough time?
If I buy the game now and start, do I have enough time to unlock the Sakuratide armor, before the event ends in couple days?

Edit:
Thanks for the answers. I reached HR16 without skipping cutscenes and now unlocked the set. Did take 20 hours of my weekend though. I just got final piece of the first set, two login day rewards were enough to give me two pieces which allowed me to farm the rest with the set bonus.

You'd really need to grind some of the story to get your HR up. To get everything you'd need to be able to do the double La La Barina quest and the Xu Wu quest. I think the Xu Wu is six star high rank, which is how you get the eye patches and glasses. The Sakuratide and the Blossom armors come off the La La Barina quest, which I think is four star high rank.

In theory yes. But that would kill all the fun considering how hard you have to skip content and show your skills. It would be doable for a veteran player, but not something I would recommend for a new player.

If you just want to try out the armour looks, you can mod it.
And it will come back in the future.

It's weekend now. You have plenty of time
I got the set (4 piece) and started grinding for a day, got everything. The last update gave about 6-8 hours of content if you want to farm everything.

Keep in mind, while it is technically not wrong that you can get everything in a day, thanks to the daily bounties - you still need to unlock the access to all the stuff.

And that simply cannot be done quickly and easily for a new player.
It's possible, but you would need to haul ass through the story and level up your HR.

dont worry, the event will be back and there will be plenty other events like this in the game, you are not missing out permanently

But all one would technically need is the event items, then reach the point where they can craft it at their leisure.

The armor is really pretty though, wish I could make it into a skin/camouflage/transmog or any system that would apply the looks over any other armor... Didn't advance enough in the game to know if this is a thing.

Any high rank armor crafted can be used as transmog, yes.

Theoretically possible, but it'd be really tight. I think it'd kill the enjoyment from the game since you'd have to skip through a lot of side content to just streamline through the main story. The event will always come back, and I recommend you take your time if you can wait. Good luck if you go for it! :8bitheart:
Personally, if you're not in a rush to play the game, i'd suggest waiting a bit see if you get a sale somewhere, even if a little (and unlikely). Not even gonna mention the performance, but there's still plenty of content to come.

If you wanna disregard that though...yeah you're really gonna have to blaze through 15 hours of gameplay (about story length, not including HR) and then some

There are oficial key sellers who gives 10% discount.
Not talking about the likely stolen keys from sites like G2A, no, I'm talking something like green man gaming, humble bundle, nuuvem.
Yes but you'll need a good 20 hours of work more or less, and rush the story and the fights so it's gonna be hard, to get the event. But you can do that, then redo a character to follow the story, then back to your FOMO character.

I see that at the time of this answer, you own the game. To complete the event you need to go to HR 26 (or 31?) if you want to rush, but at HR 9 you can already slowly have the sakuratide (the main armor of this event). Good luck and have fun hunting. If you want, keep us uptaded!

Also very likely that this event will come back, or the reward for it will come back, eventually one day.
