Instead tell more details perhaps:
Your only real bet is hoping the "fix" I gave you works for you or brute forcing hoping it works at some point like for me. One time I can enter a lobby 2x in a row, another time I might need to sit in the menu and spam "recommended lobby" or whatever else for even an hour before it finally works.
Good thing about it is that slowly more people are touched by the issue so maybe one day when there are enough daily reports they will do something about it.
a) Game is not an MMO and is perfectly playable/completable in single player, even offline
b) All you need to disable is crossplay, which changes nothing
c) If there was "nothing wrong with it" you'd be able to play normally like other people do without having to change anything, so there is definitely something wrong with it
Right before AT Rey Dau was added I played with my friend for hours without a single error, then a while later when I re-launched the game suddenly my internet became completely different. So what you're saying is providers now need some Capcom festival certificate to be able to play the game otherwise they're not meeting the requirements?
I'll answer you, maybe you'll learn something, and at the very least, other people will have the satisfaction on not letting something ridiculous unresponded.
A) They give an option for multiplayer cause it's fun to play in multiplayer. The guy specifically said "other and i" so we could also assume he play with friend sometimes.
B) "Change nothing" if it were true, crossplay would have never existed in the first place. once again assuming he doesn't play with friends. Which, imo, is almost insulting.
C) Probably the worst take in there. The least insulting i would say as it only tell something about you and nothing about others, but the one that shows you have no knowledge of how a software and a computer work. I suggest you learn a bit of that before taking hot takes like that. A Software always have and always will have flaws (bugs or weaknesses to viruses, or any other things). The more there is to a software, the more softwares you have, the higher is the risk of flaws.
Also some things are bugged for weird reason. Meaning A can have a bug that B and C will never experience. That's why you beta test things, cause a change of environment even if nothing wrong with it, can make a bug occur.
I wouldn't have answer usually, especially since i find myself kinda harsh here, but your comment comes very negatively, even without any insult in it, i find it distasteful and dismissive. Which, sometimes, rub me in the wrong way. Even though i'm not even included in that discussion in the first place.

Managed to join a lobby (first try today) and finished an online quest just now. If I quit and tried to find a different lobby I'd probably need to spend at least half an hour. Just to let everyone know, once you join a lobby you might see some errors but you likely won't be kicked out (at least that's how it works for me), the hardest part is getting into the lobby itself.

That's what it looks like. The error does appear randomly whenever I'm trying to view something or join a quest though not always, but I never get kicked out.
To me it sounds like an ISP error, where you can only connect after getting a fresh unused external IP
