Most weapon reworks are fine by me and they dont feel bad. I think the big winner is the Gunlance with the ability to recharge on hit now and Hammer got the short end of the stick.
On ranged weapons I have no opinon, because I never used them since the 3rd generation.
I like the ability to perfect guard, because fights evolve more into a dance the more you know the moveset of a monster
i rarely use Artian weapons because I think they look ugly and do not provide that much of a benefit that I have to use them.
If you want a fun fight with Zoh Shia or AT Rey Dau i recommend SnS and one Guard Up and learn how to perfect guard their attacks.
There might be fewer monsters at release than in other games (with the exception of Tri), but they will add a lot of them with updates and even integrate them into the enviroment.
I wonder if they will add AT also to the random encounters or tempered will be the max.
Just wanted to say that World did not launch with 37.
I rechecked sorry was a little off but corrected.
Also complains about monsters being spongy and names Rise and good example.
Stay classy.
Your point white knight? Yes most of the weapons feel bad I just decided to pick the 4 that feel the worst and even stated I could keep going. I decided to move on to cover other problems so i kept that part short. Right now the only weapons that don't totally feel like crap is bow, great sword, gun lance and lance.
As of the point of rise i did not say a good example I said recent and still stand by that yes it was not that bad. I had no issues with any of them as it was not all of rises end game. As i pointed out it's not just being a sponge it's the bad design on top of it. If you don't like what I have to say move on or actually have a discussion instead of being a troll cause I don't like your favorite game. Get some class.
I have a high end system as well 13th gen processor and 4090 with 64gig of ddr5. I can run the game fine but it still runs horribly and should be smoother.
Was actually waiting what you have to say about the other weapons but you chose to get condescending. Never defended the game but you do what you want

Like in the old days, you get the most fun and best memorys out of the monster hunter games by playing with trusted friends and the massivr group fun it brings with it.
Nope you need to be able to aim to hit a weak spot bud. If you wanted to know how about ask? You came at me with a 2 line troll response and said stay classy adding nothing to the conversation. So again another short troll reply and I am not letting you turn the thread into a fight so good day. So I am just blocking you and moving on cheers.
Honestly I only play with my wife and friends. Playing this solo is just not fun for me. In world I can't tell you how many hunts I did solo and loved it but here it just feels like a slog to me. Even my friends and wife are just bombing out of the game and want to play other things.
That being said, I really do feel like this is the Monster Hunter game made for me -- all I've wanted to do for years with this franchise is to just run between the biomes and free-hunt for hours on end. The Everwood was my favorite part of 4U, and Expeditions were my favorite part of World; I've been having tons and tons of fun just free-range hunting in Field Surveys, going after whatever monster simply crosses my path. I won't recommend the game from its performance but man am I loving everything about playing it when it works, even if it includes certain changes and elements that I wish they didn't include (such as removing tracking monsters entirely from the formula, though I get why they did it).
