S9041-TAD-W72T, anyone else?
I managed to play the game fine for 150 hours, now that's all I'm getting and I'm unable to play online or access anything online related to begin with.

Funnily enough, whenever I'm using different internet (my phone wifi and someone else's wifi) the game loads with no issues. What I don't get is how every single other game works fine (including MH:World) and Wilds also ran fine before on my home internet, but now I'm stuck with this.

I've tried port forwarding, restarting, updating everything, changing DNS, disabling IPv6, connecting via wifi instead of ethernet, hard-resetting the router, disabling firewall, removing all mods, reinstalling the game and anything else you can think of.

What exactly does this particular error indicate in the first place?...

same here,A few hours ago it was working fine, now I have this error
Same, i'm in sydney aus and typically get it late afternoon and at night time. once the first error pops up. i usually turn on my vpn which funnily enough connects to aus server anyway and then the error disappears.

As my daughter plays this as well but on the xbox, i had to turn on the vpn on the router. That works for her and me :)
So the only conclusion judging by the replies is that Capcom created an online system that randomly targets certain connections and just blocks them out of the game for no reason. There's no real fix (because changing the internet just for one game when the main one is working as supposed to is not okay) for it and the only hope is that said system decides the player is worthy of playing the game again at some point.

That's... astonishing to say the least.

I can think of a real good reason, and why this is not as widespread, specially after certain arena quests clear times.

But if you actually get banned you get a notification, no? Besides I have nothing to be banned for. I played the arena only once and my time was abysmal (not even A rank). Other than that, my fastest actual speedruns are duo runs with my friend (who can play the game just fine) which are: 00:44 event gravios and ~03:30 or slightly lower tempered arkveld, both of which are more than normal.

Maybe other mods caused a soft ban, we don't have much samples of this problem.

That's also not it because I managed to connect once on my main internet after like 50 attempts. I was in a lobby with people but when I checked the list of players it gave me the exact same error, however it didn't kick me out of the lobby. I then quit the game and tried to join a lobby again but... S9041-TAD-W72T.

If I were soft banned I would not be able to join anything.
It's possible to create your own lobby and people join in?
You said it works with other internet access points, it might be related to your ISP.

No, when it's broken I can't even join online single player. I'm also 99,9% certain it is not my ISP because I can play every single other online game I have (and that's A LOT of games). Considering more and more people are starting to get this error and considering I can play every other game in my library and even outside of it like LoL, then I really doubt it's on my side, especially considering Capcom's wizardry with online environment in their games.

Here's a video for anyone interested. I finally managed to join some lobby after like 100 attempts, it worked perfectly fine. I managed to view the list of players, managed to join and finish a quest. I purposefully didn't restock on my water ammo to see if I don't get kicked out mid quest. At the end I showed I'm on my home ethernet connection and quit to the title screen.

Obviously, while trying to find another lobby the same ♥♥♥♥ started happening.
