PC freeze + crash

Hello everyone,

maybe someone had this problem and can help me.

After some time when I start a mission, not only the game but the whole PC crashes. The picture freezes and that's it.
No way to access the task manager or to get out with Windows/Alt + Tab.

What you describe is a hardware issue.
Check for heat issues first, then go on with memory issues.

What you describe is a hardware issue.
Check for heat issues first, then go on with memory issues.

Thanks for your reply.

Here's what I would do:

1. for the heat issue

Open HWInfo with CPU / GPU, as well as GPU hot-spot temperature graphs and start a stress test with Cinebench

2. for the memory issue, the solution would be the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool and test each ram stick individually.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Any OC on your end? Like RAM XMP, GPU overclocking or undervolting?

Any OC on your end? Like RAM XMP, GPU overclocking or undervolting?

The PC was a pre-build and I did not make any changes afterwards.
I have just checked the bios and it says XMP profile 1 DDR4-3600

Further data:

CPU frequency 4901.90 MHZ

CPU Voltage (it fluctuates) 0.885 - 1.200 v
System Temp 41 C
Memory frequency 3600.00 MHZ
Memory voltage 1.344 v
VRM MOS 41 C

According to GPU-Z:
GPU Clock 2235 MHZ
Default clock 2235 MHZ

MSI Afterburner:
1045mV ( 1050mV is stock)

It's not a hardware issue. It's not correlated tightly with load, it happens randomly. I've had nothing for hours of hunts, and then the game will freeze randomly when I'm just crossing a hub area.

It's an issue with the game. People have been reporting this kind of crash since launch.

It's an issue with the game. People have been reporting this kind of crash since launch.

I've been having this since launch, replaced a bunch of parts including PSU, still getting it. Only game that does it is wilds, convinced it's not actually a hardware issue and just denuvo or some ♥♥♥♥.
