what makes Rey Duck a bit stupid
so I'm very analytical and perceptive on things and I noticed something which is BS about Rey over here....his left-right wing thursts... he does two types of left-right wing thrusts at different angles, while the animations remains the same, which means if the animation for two different attacks is the same you don't know which ones are gonna be and how to evade them

in the beginning I didn't noticed he does them at different angles, i could swear I was dodging and was getting hit anyway so I was like wtf ? then I realized wait a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minute,

this mofo has two different wing slashes at two different angles while the animation is the same , no wonder I kept getting hit... this is some dirty sneaky bs bruh
never noticed that, I always dodge in for the wing slices. Im wary of the extra delayed AOE trail they leave. Didnt know there was more than that.

Im fine w it being tricky and all, considering its AT.

having two different attacks with the same animation is really bs, you're dodging while anticipating a specific attack angle and the attack comes at a different angle and you get hit....this is really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying

you have like a split second to react and avoid these attacks, you can't have this kind of bs going on

I noticed monsters in this game really punish over commitment, they really don't want you to do a complete combo, you're going for a basic combo and by the time you're about to finish the last hits they will smack you into the dirt, so you really have to know when to stop and when you can get away with finishing your attacks

I think they're describing that at's missing an animation that does a proper 180 sweep hurtbox while using 100 degree animation as I think they're pointing out the 100 degree sweep animation is being used for both attacks which would need a video to see how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up that is.

or i got it in reverse.

one of a weird memory i have while fighting normal tempered rey dau is being able to just go under the wing without caring if it's left or right.
This would make me get hit in AT ver instead I believe unless im past the legs or just avoid the attacking side.

I never got a a chance to observe from a distance, but I'd probably check if the explosions are matching the hurtboxes but using the wrong animation which I have no evidence on but theory.

fought him again with GS... yeah he's just really cheesy and annoying, his attacks always leaving a traill of explosive crap is what turns me off about this fight, that nonsense limits your offensive options and I hate that

his normal tempered version is more fun to fight against

SnS is fast enough that you can parry the wing attack and the explosion after that and then again when it does the same attack with the other wing which allows you to do a counter slash 4 times, while it is locked in the animation
