- sadly many have the communication blocked completely
- people do not care for the messages at the side or pay any attention to it
- they do not speak your language
- they are simply [a lot of bad words here]
Have you tried custom stickers to get the message to them more clearly?
Also highly recommend to play in fixed hunting partys with your trusted friends (no modding/cheating/ban risk).
They troll you. It is impossible not to notice nor communicate in multiplayer, unless there is absolute intent to be anti-social.
i remember this one funny dude that texted "murdur them". I almost didnt read it. After someone captured the monster he went on a sticker rampage with the texts "cart yourself" and "why are you like that" sort of thing.

Once a player has joined, even if they leave, the monster HP should be balanced for two players to engage, and so forth.
In other words.
If you are looking to do something specific, and another player can spoil for you without noticing, why are you giving yourself the hassle of the doubt? Instead of hunting alone, until you have what you need?
the game does =] you just ask people to respect your etiquette
that's not a choice you make for them, that is a choice they make themselves whether to respect your choice to slay or to brush it off and do as they please as the game has intended to let them do so
YOU however have a choice as the host
don't want them capturing in your hunt but they wanna do it anyway? kick them
I'm sick and tired of these people crying "oh they dont follow my rules its my hunt its MY mission"
look we don't care we're gonna play how we want if you dont like it 2 options
Lock your room and play with people you can trust?
OR
Kick Them for not respecting your etiquette
No harm no foul
That would be only effective if the kick includes a sort of punishment. Otherwise it is an effort which can only be triggered when it is too late, and will not change anything in the future unless you are using a community wide blacklist to exclude rulebreakers permanently.
I get kicked all the time for capturing in random's missions heck i even get blacklisted after the hunt
i dont cry and complain about it, it is what it is people want to have their entitlement and their way of playing and when people don't comply with their demands they complain first then block after
just block and move on =] don't complain its a waste of energy
Also, in Wilds, there are no exclusive carve/capture rewards like in older titles. Everything can be gotten normally. I've never once had to capture a monster for a specific part.
The only time it matters is when you have the Carver or Capture Pro meal effects.
It is the players. Not the game.
because of entitlement of majority of gamers nowadays
people are just straight up sensitive and make a mountain out of a mole hill
this game is full of that
"look at me im entitled if you dont play my way ill block you"
and normally the way i see it is always the people who prefer to kill that are the ones complaining about people who capture
usually people who prioritize capturing i hardly ever see them complain at all
so yeah... Entitlement honestly
anyway to conclude all of this... whether you kill or capture? it doesnt matter
its all beneficial and we're all farming for materials so whether you kill it or capture it they both yield a success for the mission either way
and whether you kill or you capture and you dont get the material you're looking for you have to do another hunt of that same monster anyway until you finally get what you're aiming for so...
i don't even see why theres even this whole red vs blue topic about it
It feels like people are trying to hate the game on purpose.
Endless posts about content being too easy, last week posts about Mizutsune being impossible, people trying to run the game on a toaster being flabbergasted their 2001 machines aren't running at 60 fps no dips, people asking the game to have less content with gender locked armors, and now we have a dude calling quits on people making his hunts easier?
