Event Quest not dropping tickets

So, I first noticed this with the Quematrice event quest, that it was not dropping the Amstrigian Tickets. I'm now experiencing the same issue with the new x2 Barina quest, which is not dropping any blossom tickets, no matter how many times I do the quest. It also does not show the ticket as a reward that could even drop. Doesn't matter if it's a completely unmodified install or modded.

Oh, I mean I've completely deleted all modded files and done an entirely fresh install and the problem persists

blossom tickets are from login only i believe, only way to find out when daily resets. i noticed it too. event bosses drop a different blossom ticket, not the one for crafting the blossom samurai set. those tickets are for the shades. --o-o--

Not really. If you wear event armor, every quest can drop tickets. You can look at loot table of mission to confirm

Best way to try and get any tickets, is by doing the new "Daily Bounties", in order to craft the full set of Sakuratide gear.

Once you have the set of gear (and wear it), you'll have a better chance at getting any of the festival tickets (to my knowledge). I've gotten 2-3 tickets every single run of the event quests (Blossom tickets).

If however you're looking for extra rewards in general, which might help for quests that don't hand out the Blossom tickets, you should do some Arena Quests, The Rathian, and Frog, and make yourself the Clerk armor, or at least three pieces, as this set of armor gives you the "Luck" trait, giving you more rewards per quest.

I'm not getting Hunter Symbols II from the Xu Wu Events Quests...

You need to equip the Sakuratide armor to get freebie tickets. I think at least 2 pc but maybe 4 pc gives even more.

The Xu Wu event quest always gives a Blossom Catalogue though.

It's strange that it doesn't give you the guaranteed Hunter Symbol like any other Tempered Monsters...

It also doesn't have a chance of dropping the Clothes needed for some of the event pieces, despite the dual Lala sometimes dropping Hornflies for other pieces.

So my friend also couldn't get the event quest to drop despite having the gear equipped. I think there's a bug in the game.

There is no such bug. Mod users know what they are doing.
