If you're using an NVIDIA 40 or 50 series GPU, this version will cause your games to crash endlessly!
If you've already updated, use DDU to completely uninstall the driver and reinstall version 572.83 instead.
I've been struggling with this issue for days, but it's finally fixed now.

Had same issues, downgrading to 572.83 fixed it. The difference is the driver, nothing else changed. Other games work perfectly fine though with the new driver - it was just MH Wilds which kept crashing.

It is the new driver, 576.02 seems to make monster hunter wilds randomly crash shortly into gameplay. From what I've seen online this is affecting most 50 series cards and some 4090s it seems 572.83 is where you want to be for stable driver to play wilds.

My 4070 super is on the most updated driver and it has no issues, but my 5080 does have them and is also on new driver, it had no issues prior to driver update. That was the only change made to the PC

works perfectly fine when you actually update the driver properly

If you know a little bit about PCs and stuff you should know that not every System works like a charm with new drivers....
Go to reddit, Steam and other places and see what issues some ppls got with "new Nvidia drivers".


its a known issue with Nvidia driver since a few months.
Same problems with Indiana Jones, Shadows, Wilds and other games.
Try to update every new driver from nvidia and youll see in the future.
Have fun with Blackscreens, FPS dropps, crashes and other stuff nobody want

Yeah a lot of ppls get problems with Nvidias gaming driver.
Its a shame
I use 572.47 and dont upgrade the next months until Nvidia give us drivers without so many issues

And now test it with 572.47 or a little bit newer.
If both GPUs are working the problem is 100% Nvidia- driver (or capcom)
But i think this point goes to Nvidia.

Watch carefully if gpu thermal sensor and fans are working normally. That new driver was causing thermal sensor malfunction on my 3080ti and fans were not working while playing games, ended up freezing

I peronally don't have any problem with new driver. I shutdown my computer when I don't use it.

Seriously, where do you people crop up every time there is an issue with a software, be it game or driver or some other random app. Something working for you doesn't mean it's working for other people. Computers are funny like that, so many different setups it's quite hard to make something work for every single conceivable setup even when there's nothing wrong with said setups, and in this case lots and lots of people are suffering from the issues, not just on this game.

NVIDIA themselves are even pushing a hotfix to fix this issue which they obviously wouldn't do if there was nothing wrong with it and it was indeed working as intended.

If you’re getting freezing it could be anything from your DisplayPort cable to your gpu itself not necessarily the drivers. Got to rule out each thing
