If you're using an NVIDIA 40 or 50 series GPU, this version will cause your games to crash endlessly!
If you've already updated, use DDU to completely uninstall the driver and reinstall version 572.83 instead.
I've been struggling with this issue for days, but it's finally fixed now.

Having the same problem, no crashes with previous nvidia drivers, and now it crashes non stop with the latest ones. I'm even downclocking the gpu and still crashes!

Even now, just tried to disable all overclocking on GPU and CPU, turn off msi afterburner and overlay, went into the game and crashed in 2 minutes..

Thank you for you post. I was wondering why all of the sudden MHW starting to crash but before it was all ok. Glad to see myself isn't alone. I guess I will wait for the update to fix it. Game is too short anyway.

I also did a lot of troubleshooting to fix the crashes, but nothing worked. At this point, it really feels like a conflict with the new driver.

Wait when did the new drivers release? Today? If not it works fine on my pc no crashes

GPU processor temperature detection not working, those drivers might roast your GPU aswell

No no no that's on the game. I was able to reproduce this.

The game starts on the "wrong" monitor if you turn that monitor on first when booting up.

You can Set the correct monitor in your config and Set it to read only to avoid this.

I'm on 576.02 and it actually has fixed quite a bit of issues that I had, especially the black screen BSOD with Gsync

Nah, i turn on my screen same order for years. Just like it turned on G-Synch randomly after that update.

It's quite hilarious when someone has a faulty setup then warns the world of a driver update which probably isn't even the cause of their own issue.

It's related to a windows update 2-3 month ago. Happend on some games.
On Wilds its especially noticeable as the drm detection takes so long.
So it will open on whatever screen is active after the drm check.
