HR Zoh Shia is a garbage fight
not saying he's too hard, he's just not fun to play against, all he does is waste time

he lifts his whole upper body off the ground and begins to waste your time as there is nothing you can do about what follows, you just have to wait for him to stop spamming like an idiot and bring his body down so you can start playing again ...it's even worse with lance

and does he really need a forward charge attack ? no he doesn't, that's just there to screw with you and waste your time even more

I prefer Jin Dahaad at least his attacks are original unlike this Fatalis wannabe copycat with reused attacks from Fatalis,

I solo'd him with LS in like 18 mins and took me over 20 minutes with Lance...complete garbage fight and lazy unoriginal monster design... he doesn't even look cool he looks stupid.

I don't understand what you mean by this. There shouldn't be any time you're unable to attack Zoh Shia aside from when it's using its big attack (Same as Jin). Especially with lance, given you're able to shield and counter attack the running. Which is an attack Jin also has by the way. I'm confused as most of the people I play prefer fighting Zoh Shia over Jin, and find Jin to be an absolute slogfest of a fight (Myself included).

In regards to Zoh Shia's design and fight, it does have similarities to Fatalis for a reason...

this is why i hate oversize monster in monster hunter game becos we cant scale up their body like in dragon dogma and some of them will have their weakspot too high for melee weapon to reach

until he turns completely black you have to attack his upper body because those are the only zones worth attacking since you don't get any damage from his tail and back legs, so when he keeps lifting his upper body off the ground he's wasting your time as you can't reach the parts you need to hit and you also have to run for dear life because that's when he starts spamming fireballs like an idiot
The wyvern milk crystals did add an extra layer of tedium. I would rather the boss just have a cliche nuke attack like Jin Dahaad, instead of having to get slinger ammo to stop the fire from crossing half the arena.

How?

They're literally a core part of his fight. Outside of his giant AOE, he also uses them to widen the area of attack on his elemental strikes.

It takes 2 seconds to get slinger ammo with the claw. You can blow up a lot of these crystals under him for 150-200 damage a pop. They actually hurt him more then they hurt you if your'e actually playing around the wylk mechanic.
Moving on from complaing about gore magala, eh ?

Your skill issue diary is growing bigger by the day.
and those bouncing fireballs are aboslute bs, you'd think it's random where they bounce around but it's not, they'll actually go where you stand if you're near enough to get hit by one of them

nothing but cheesy bs in this fight.

it's boring because the base roster is garbage since all the new monsters are complete cornballs, Rey Dau is the only good one

Can you not read? Its TEDIOUS. You have to sheathe your weapon, pull out the slinger, push the d-pad to select whatever material you're grappling, then you shoot it at the crystal.

Alternatively, I could just do without the Milk crystals. Yeah it does 150-200 damage per tick, but do you even know what DPS is?
