BAD PERFORMANCE WITH 4060TI 16 GB AND I5 14400F
As title says, i am currently playing at 1080p, high preset, DLSS on, FG OFF (no texture pack).
In the forest, i cant even reach a stable 60 fps.
Do you experience better or worse performances?

No, before lower requirement is set to 4060 for low setting with frame gen get 60FPS in 1080P, then 4060Ti how come smooth run under high preset without frame gen?
you need 4070 minimum for this game

It would be reasonable to expect as such, yes. But this game requires framegen even on like, series 50 cards to even reach 60 stable.

Imo, install the high res pack, see if you can set it to "high" textures, with everything else on "low" or "very low", framegen on. It still will run like crap, but it's the best fidelity/performance breakpoint you can expect out of it without going into 16 gb vram.

RE Engine is optimized for PS5 architecture which streams textures into its shared GDDR6 memory in realtime, forcing a cache invalidation each time the camera is moved. If you don't have DDR 5 RAM and a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD your system will struggle, no matter the GPU.
With a 4060? the **60 series have NEVER been good cards meant for gaming.

Considering this game is like 80% cave walls and under 050 visibility most of the time, there's no reason even a 16 series card shouldn't be able to run it acceptably. A card that can run elden ring on "high" at 4k should also be able to run this game at least decently at 1080p.

Y'all like "oh yeah this card is not good enough" like we're talking crysis-on-ultra levels of fidelity when this game looks like a brown smear more often than not, and anything below "high" textures with the high res pack looks like a ps3 launch title.

Try with process lasso :

Before
Game was sometimes slow, sometimes unplayable, sometimes good.
After using Process Lasso
Monsterhunterwilds.exe -> 8 cores stagger + high priority + perf mode enable + probalance enable + smart trim enable, my game is running SMOOTHLY like hell !
Why ? I don't know and i don't care ... It's fine now !
Give it a try ... Maybe it will be good for you too !

you dont need a 50series GPU for stable 60FPS in 1080P
some ppls play with old low end-mid end CPUs + RAM. A better GPU dont solve this problems.

my 4090 got (4k Max with DLAA.. not DLSS and High res. texture.) with FG 120-130 FPS
stable ...more then 60 FPS in 4k Max without FG. (1% looks still good)

There are some other problems.
and i think my Win10 22h2 19045 without direct-storage is fine.
No stutter issues and stable FPS. smooth even with FG
+ lot of driver issues rom nvidia since months. i never play with the newest driver (right now 572.47)

Bench Mark from 2 months ago with similar set up, in fact his CPU is a bit better than yours.
Guy cant get much higher than 49 FPS in plains.

So the purpose of this thread is?

Please tell me more about the $1600 (msrp, you probably paid more for it) gpu that barely run this game at 60 fps without framegen.

So are you asking for mods to help performance?
Are you asking for tips on settings?

Is this just a thread that goes on about how an underwhelming CPU is not an actual good enough CPU for gaming?
Because the reality is that you need a good CPU.
You need 32 gigs of RAM for good gaming.
You need to have the game installed to an M.2 NVME drive to get best texture streaming.
You also need an actual good GPU for actual high end gaming performance.
Not an introductory "gaming GPU".

What I am looking at is you got a laptop "gaming" PC and didnt comprehend that it would have limited performance while gaming playing modern titles, nothing has really changed it has always been that way.
You get the capacity to play modern games but it wont be at their best on laptop, not to mention its not like this laptop is made with high end parts to begin with and laptop parts are not always 1 to 1 performance to desktop parts as it is.
