Weather change in the Basin tanks my FPS
Anyone got this issue after the recent update where your fps takes a massive tank once the weather changes in the Basin? It never did that before.

Jeez. Glad I am not alone. YES. This happens EVERY TIME the weather changes now. Persists for a couple mins then subsides. I thought I was going insane. This started since yesterday's patch, yeah?

If you think it is patch related, use this and try again

Hey, appreciate the response. I've tried everything here. This is still a persistent issue. Is there any way you could test this in your game as well? It happens in the Basin and Forest only from my testing. It seems like something isn't getting properly unloaded. When you fast travel or rest, the issue goes away.

So, sometimes when you rest or travel it just doesn;t clear up. I have no idea what the hell is causing this. I have DDU'd my drivers 3 times, tried 3 different driver versions, cleared my entire DX shader cache, everything. this is a MHWilds issue.

Btw, OP, what specs do you have? Guessing you own a 40 or 50 series card, yeah?

Interesting. Please let me know if this happens again. Recompiling my shaders has not fixed it for me yet, seemingly. Did you happen to DDU your drivers prior to noticing this issue?
