For Those Complaining about Rainbow Coloring

I feel like I have to clear this up because there are a ton of people whom this is the first game in the series that they have ever played. I have played Monster Hunter since the very first game came out on the Playstation 2 in 2004. The rainbow coloring that you may be complaining about has existed in this game for a very very long time. It has been and never was some statement about pride.

It was/is a reward that you received for completing every quest/job in the game. Furthermore it does not actually display all of the colors at once like a rainbow would. It is a color shifting palette. Putting it on your gear makes the colors shift between all of the colors. Again, I reiterate. It has never been a statement about pride.

I would prefer if all these newcomers would not make demands that content be removed or
in this case barred from the game. I would appreciate that.

I have edited the post so that people can no longer make some weird strawman argument. It is something that I have been seeing from time to time and I think its ridiculous to complain about colors. Not really claiming to be any victim here, only clearing up what I see to be some sort of misunderstanding. Also its how long I KNOW I've been playing, what do I not know my own history? lol

Was missing it in Rise. Has it been added to Wilds for completing all the optional quests as usual?

It is currently not in the game. Some people have been shouting for it to not be added. I think they are misunderstanding and thinking that it's some sort of statement about gay pride but, yeah. Not there.

According to some other thread Wilds is woke because you can make your character eat salad, so of course these people are offended by the rainbow pigment. Looking at the history of Monster Hunter games it's indeed ridiculous.

Rarity of equipment ? If that's it, it's pretty common in games and usual actually.
If it's about color of characters, i never read any complains about it, this post is the first to talk about it, wtf ?
And if it's about the gear color personalisation, what ?

It is something that has existed in the game series for a while. Read the entire post. I just saw someone mentioning it in the new update discussion but I have seen it on other threads as well. I have been told by friends that they have seen people whining about it as well. Requesting that it not be added. I feel like this stems from a misunderstanding more than anything. It was never some political statement.

You speak like someone more terminally online than I ever have. Do you have any logical statement to make or do you want to keep acting petulant.

They are right though. It also sparked a discussion about 'unwanted LGBTQ representation' back in World. There's plenty of topics with similar content in this forum, too. As I said earlier eating salad is now considered woke according to some people.

I actually said I had seen it for myself, but that I had also heard it from a couple friends saying they have also seen it. People talk, imagine that. I also never stated that it was some hot-button issue with thousands of posts. I'm going to say this, again. I think it's more of a misunderstanding born from people who have not played the previous games. So I was hoping to provide a bit of clarity specifically to those people who might think it was/is some sort of political statement by Capcom.

Look I get it, everyone thinks every single thing is political now and ready to jump down each others throat. I'm not really here to argue with anyone or instigate anything. Chill.
