Why does the game still look so grainy?
I am just amazed how even after being out for this long the game still looks like something made years ago sometimes. You will never actually get visuals like the high res dlc promises to provide and i really wish it did.

I recommend downloading REFramework Mod and Disable Lens Distortion mod. It makes the Game Look a whole lot better. You could also install Reshade for further Visual enhancements.

I have thought about something like that but i have also heard that the game is not always too friendly to modders.

As Long as you dont use any Mods Like unlocking all the DLC for free or mods that Ruin other Players experience Like damage modifiers you will be Fine. Modding has been a big Part of Monster Hunter and you will Not get Banned for it.

recomend nexus: Disable Post processing effect. disable Film grain // lens distortion // Local contrast Sharper blurried. Game look great and can change gamma constrast or using reshade Denoise + CAS

The opposite is correct.

I am referring to the new mod for low specs, since it was what yuver mentioned.

The best for visual enhancements remain ReShade / Special K with adjustments to the config.ini as a filmgrain is natively set on with the game.

And maybe the colour filter removal PAK.

This is btw how it looks like in comparison for me with and without ReShade on a cheap laptop

Have you adjusted your brightness and contrast?

A lot of visual issues are connected to it.
