I absolutely HATE fishing... the bird keeps getting in the way, monsters keep showing up and attacking me, the big fish rarely bite.... I swear to god I am going to hack this game just to max out on effing big fish materials so I never have to fish again.

watch a fishing guide for 3 minutes, you just reel in slow, fast or stop and go and the fish bite. just change out the lure every minute and you can figure it out real fast

bird keeps getting in the way? You know you can turned that off in the setting righ?
monsters keep showing up and attacking you? Then where is your dung pod and ghillie mantle?
the big fish rarely bite? Are you using the right bait and right luring method? Or maybe just skill issue?
There are also skills that make fishing easier, and let the small monsters ignore you...
But yeah go ahead and find some more excuses to be a loser hacker lol

You can use your slinger on the birds to remove them, carry dung pods to make the monsters leave, and make sure you're using the right bait and using the fishing skills like slow real in.

I found that jigging in place doesn't work as well for me as reeling fast or slow. Also, remember that you can change lures to the fish's preferences.
The bird getting in the way is my biggest gripe about this game. Extremely aggravating.

thats why I made an artian ice GS instead of the funny fish GS. Im sure its stronger OTL....
