This is the worst Monster Hunter game ever made.

After 13 hours I gave up. I haven't even cared for playing this game. This is the first Monster Hunter game I really don't care about. I've bought every single game at launch since I learned about this franchise (that being MH Tri on Wii) but MH Wilds simply... isn't Monster Hunter. I understand they want to add a "narrative" experience to cater to the west but in doing so they just removed the soul of the game. We are no longer hunters, exploring the environment and learning about each species as we go. We are now just guys who have weapons and kill everything we find. Lore-wise this game also is just meh. Gameplay-wise there's nothing new except focus mode to make everything easier. What happened to MH? This franchise was great because it was a Monster Hunter simulator!! Now it's just a Playstation-like movie experience that is just boring and soulless. Not to mention the horrible UIs and complications to play with friends that detract the experience. Old Monster Hunter is gone, we've killed it.

you could also be getting older losing interest in the game. after all the game just has had 1 real update with a road map for improvements and new monsters. this game will become better then worlds i have no doubt
