Servers Down?
Cannot connect to the servers. It keeps spitting back various errors. Anyone else having this issue?

SOLUTION for Monster Hunter Wilds – Error code s9041-tad-w72t

After trying everything I could find online (firewall, DNS, reinstalling, admin mode, creating new rules, etc.), the only thing that worked was using Cloudflare WARP.

The issue is not your PC or Steam – it's your Internet Service Provider (ISP) causing problems with the connection to Capcom's servers. It happened to me and a few others at the exact same time, which made me realize it was something external.

Here’s how to fix it:

Go to https://1.1.1.1

Download and install Cloudflare WARP

Open the app and enable it (make sure it says “1.1.1.1 with WARP”)

Launch Monster Hunter Wilds

Done! You should be able to create or join lobbies again.

WARP acts like a VPN but optimized for gaming. It fixes broken routes from your ISP and doesn’t change your region. You can keep it on all the time or only for the game.

Hope this helps someone else going through the same frustration. It took me hours to figure this out. Good luck, and happy hunting!
its weird for me cuz i dont have an issue with connecting to the public lobbies/hub and joining quests

however, just to try out the program, i played with it on and somehow i can connect to the hub but i cant join *ANY* quests lol, all gives me an error.

Gonna try this but still, is this a capcom issue? Being forced to download something for a game to work is frustrating

Ok, apparently the ISP issue has been fixed (at least for me), I can now go online normally without Cloudflare WARP

Seemingly disabling cross-play resolves the issue as well.

Region issues for certain network-nodes maybe? People with issues should post their country/location to see if its a regional issue.

Same here, It now allows me to join a lobby. But I am unable to join any games via sos, lobby quests etc. new error code (R31A6-0-0:3)
