Zoh Shia Rates??

I've done 20-30 hunts on this guy and have only gotten TWO gems. Did they change the rates for zoh shia in specific or has my luck just ran out???

I have done seven hunts so far and got three gems.

The game say "3% on carve" and "7% on tail carve" if I remember well. But I never got any gems except when it was a special reward.

yeah the best chance for gems is from the tail. also try eating the special meals at the hub. there is one that lets you get extra carves.

this CANNOT be real. Not calling you a liar but maybe the game cause I've never gotten it from the tail either and I usually cut it every quest

That's monhun for you. Sometimes the RNG just doesn't align. Keep in mind a 3% chance on carve, and 7% chance on tail carve does not mean you'll get one in 10 clears, that's just the average. You could be (and seem to be) the fringe case where it can take a lot more for that 3-7 percent chance to finally land.

yes this gives you good chances, that carver effect is honestly insane, i was carving so much i almost ran out the timer.

Otherwise yeah, its rng. I have a heapload of Gems i cant do anything with, but been starved of the blackember mass and horns. Those just wouldnt drop for me.

That doesnt mean you'll get one. You can go 100 hunts without carving one from tails and you can go on 1 and get it. Welcome to RNG silly goob
