Perfect Guard need a Nerf
Currently Perfect guard is way too OP, it makes the Guard skill insignificant, even the weakest smallest Shield (SnS), could perfect guard strong attack with ignorable knockback and continue its combo. Currently with perfect guard, theres almost no diffrent with smallest SnS or biggest shield (Lance). Perfect guard dont gives chip damage when activated? sure, but it shouldnt give knockback reduction and stamina spend reduction too much, guard skill should be mandatory if wanting PG without knockback, especially guard now only need 3 lvl to max.
Why lots of people say Wild is too easy? its because with Perfect Guard and Offset attack, people could guard without knockback and instantly continues their combo without any related skill required. for balance, just like Perfect guard, Offset attack itself should also need specific skill similar to guard skill to be able to parry strong attack without knockback and continues theyre combo, if without these skill, a successfull parry to a 'Strong attack' will left the hunter stay at a knockback animation.

As someone who plays Lance and SnS, I do think SnS should definitely not get as much out of PG as Lance. Seems odd.

I'm pretty sure Weakness Exploit was nerfed in World in order to accommodate the Clutch Claw (WEX and monster hitzones in general were nerfed with the Iceborne update to encourage you to use the "tenderize" mechanic).

Unless, of course, I'm forgetting about a WEX nerf that happened before Iceborne came out...
I would make the ironwall guardian and shield decos only work with lance and gun lance sns is not meant to be a strong blocker and dont need those lance and gunlance are much less mobile and has to guard while sns is mobile hits hard for a what used to be a support weapon type

Evade 'Only' Weapon? Lance is always a counter weapon, maybe extra damage with evade mantle, but even with mantle you need to combo perfect guard and evade to get its optimal bonus, and im sure you mean GL, and yes GL in world is more focus on evade / Jiang shi step jump lol

its because Weakness Exploit is too OP, even after it got nerfed, it still is one of the most important skill to all weapon right? (ofc except fix dmg like sticky ammo build) thats why its OP and get nerfed, still one of the most important skill after nerfed though.

any SNS who chooses guard related decos instead of evade distance is no SNS player.

what an ignorance judgemental comment, in World, evade distance is very bad on Sns since you will miss some attack of your PR hit, while in Rise, theres good Parry into PR build for SnS that require high guard skill lvl to pull off.

Only using atk decos and wide range

In world sns was mostly a healer due yo item use while holding weapon
nerf not. It's powerfull with monsters that miss their attacks and attack slowly. But when they start to no longer miss their attacks and no longer fall asleep, it will be a decent level.

lol, its actually not, it could be a healer, but SNS is quite OP in world, its PR is almost as strong as TCS, and for Alatreon/ATV Speedrun, Sns is one of the top rank.
actually im SNS main since MH Tri and never missed any iteration of MH. SNS for me is more of support rather than dps or tank. hit and run using status ailments will greatly help the team rather than getting a perfect block or doing dps. SNS should be rolling to a better position rather than blocking it. i mainly play multiplayer local adhoc with our local MH community way back during 3ds days. blocking wont help you or the team if you tank like a gunlance/lance player instead doing hit and dodge attacks to a ssj Rajang for example.
