I have a few, but it seems like people are using cheat mods in arena (I'm not surprised, just disappointed) and I expect this is going to encourage Capcom to look at banning people who run mods.
I'm a little worried myself now, As I run a couple of QoL ones, for instance, One that restocks my chosen load out so i don't have to go into a tent to restock manually every hunt;
one that sharpens my sword out of combat just to save me that every. time.
one that disables the camera from stealing my mouse when a monster dies.
one that auto closes that stupid recommended box that prevents me from opening the map when i exit tent or hunt.
one that causes enemy scars o always glow so i don't have to be in focus mode to see them
one that makes monsters ignore camps so they aren't always all broken and useless.
One that updates monster icons that have a mini iconon them to show what they're weak to, so i don't have to go thru the monster book's 8 pages-per-monster to check that info.
like small QOL stuff.
There are also busted as crap mods that give you infinite heals, 100000000000x damage (people have 10 second hunts on Zoh Shia, I wonder how?), and let you add 9999999 (or whatever it is) of every item to you inventory, craft items without needing the materials... really bad stuff.
#1. Cheat Mods. All the item boosters, damage boosters, buff-tweakers, infinite-such-and-such, etc. The ones that Capcom (and a lot of people here) believe represent all mods.
#2. Slewty Mods. All the assorted forms of nudity and, in the better cases, bounce physics. Some are better than others. Some people have REALLY bad taste. There are at least 4 for inflating Gemma's chest.
#3. Graphical / QoL Mods. The stuff that either make the game look prettier or, conversely, run better by making it LESS pretty. I'm also including all the things that tamper with the HUD and monster icons, as well as reshades.
#4. Joke Mods. Turning the player into monsters, Alma into a Seikret, Nata into Arkveld, Arkveld into Nata, the Seikret into Thomas the Tank Engine, and yes, giving Doshaguma a reflective jacket. Definitely the best kind of mods... except the audio ones, which are kinda low-effort, like Congalala fart reverb.
check back when the expansion is released
this one[www.nexusmods.com] removes a lot of the color filter. I think the game looks better.
this one[www.nexusmods.com] increases the possibility that you might get stunned if you manage to get hit several times by a monster (from "zero" to "unlikely", but hey)
and this one[www.nexusmods.com] makes monsters tankier, hit more, faster and harder. Not "hard", but hardER.
I tried both the above and this one. I think I prefer this one, but I haven't played much of either due to the game's performance.[www.nexusmods.com]
These three are for me the personal must haves

Keep the Seikret functionality while surpressing the Scoutflies animations - can be adjusted that only certain animations are disabled. Getting rid one of the most annoying sounds / animations.

Is there really a comment of mine needed to express the appreciation for not having your character glowing - especially when the camera is closeup?
