In wilds, the skill floor is decreased heavily due to phial management being basically none existent (it's a lil disappointing)
No one says that
Just like any other weapon though I'd think the difficulty lies in maximizing it's potential. Charge Blades are intimidating to me to use from attempts at trying to use them back in World, and trying to figure out how to charge both the sword and the shield with the phials in order to pull off an SAED, even if I could just keep stabbing the monster with the SnS combo sets which I can do okayish with to some degree.
Meanwhile Hunting Horns need certain melodies queued up in order to use their ability to hard counter a monster's attack, and that's only if the Hunting Horn in question has the Offset Melody to begin with. As opposed to...y'know. Resounding Melody, or Melody of Life. Worst of all, and where I'd see the difficulty in HH usage come into play, they tend to be different combinations of notes across different Hunting Horns.
Point is. Maybe weapons aren't as complex as we make them out to be. The complexity is just from using them well in hunts.
Idk why youtubers keep parroting this sentiment either.
I tried to understand the vials mechanic but it’s just too much for me to remember.
I don’t know why and how important it is to charge my shield/sword.
Also I am using m/kb not controller and tbh the new focus mode makes it even harder for me.
