Cpu from 30 degrees to 100 degrees☠️
So. I always notice that when i play mh wilds my computer gets insanely hot and yesterday i just checked the temperature and it was at the limit, it was literally at 100c, im pretty sure that isnt normal, right? And yeah, i cant use fsr3 because this damn thing crashes.

It shoots my CPU to 100c instantly too, and my system is no slouch:

14900KS
4090
96gb ram
Hydro X cooling

There is absolutely an issue somewhere.

Its only a problem if its nearing or exceeding the rated thermal cap and causing thermal throttling.

A lot of modern cpu and gpu are rated for around 90 to 100 degrees under load. If you can hear your fans pick up speed at random intervals, you have a problem you need to investigate.

thats the problem its a ♥♥♥♥♥ power guzzler i think at stock it guzzles like 400w? thats as much power as a 3090 or even more its stupid af

Sounds like you've 2 problems:
1) if you never even came close to 100 % usage before, then chances are high that a weaker CPU (especially in terms of power consumption) would've been better for you, otherwise it's just wasted money (at least until now as it seems)
2) if temperatures are extremely high when you've barely played, then there's a high chance your cooling isn't sufficient enough. If it's an older PC and you've yet not done it, cleaning and maybe applying new thermal paste might be enough, otherwise a stronger CPU cooler might be necessary

may have to dial the graphics settings back if you want to ease the load on your cpu.

Its not normal because you invested in a suboptimal cooling system.
You CPU will start to trottle down once it reaches the critical zone.

I just bought the processor. It's an i9-12900f and literally is the only game that provokes that, ihave 32gb ram, and a rtx 3070

This game is insanely CPU unoptimized. It's going to slam your CPU for very little effect. You are going to need to have big cooling.

are u using the stock cooler? according to this unboxing i see a forking stock cooler
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfC7a8bo6sk

if u are then yes thats the biggest reason why. its supposed to be used with i3 or at the worst an i5, that i9 draws 200w. it needs a dual heat stack big ass cooler.

Sadly yes, i was thinking in buying a cooler due to that, but due to the condition of the game idk if it's worth.

if u want to use that cpu at its full capacity, then u literally have to. i suggest u get the cheapest thermalright cooler, with dual heat stacks. if u were to continue to use the stock cooler, its going to probably throttle at like 100w or something silly.

edit: i also hope ur motherboard is not a h series board, because not all motherboards will be able to handle an i9

Hey, I’m running a Ryzen 7 7700x with a big ol phantom spirit(? It may be another model, i forget) and this game still pushes my cpu to 90°+ sometimes

turn on eco mode if u dont like high temps on am5 ryzens, they are meant to boost up to 95degrees c at stock
i got a 4090 and 14700K (old Bios/Microcode) with 300W Max. (normal 253W form Intel)
Ingame CPU temps: between 40 and 53°C (wilds)
420 AiO for 80€
100°C is crazy and not good = thermal Throttling

my 14700K with 300W Max (benchmark) goes up to 70°C...sometimes short to 75

In other games its the same
normal CPU temp between 40-50°C
MH Wilds is not worse (for me) then other games

a good cooling-system is always important.
For 13+14Gen (or other hot Ryzen CPUs) a must have

Dam n, well, I was thinking in getting this one https://a.co/d/hHZot8l and my mb is an Intel B760 PRIME B760M-A D4 Matx
