Capcom rewards cheater
So i figured whom who got a A in the Arena will have acces to the best rewards but it seems it is not the case....

the top 0,1% will get an extra loot because they´re so good and earned it right? All the 7sec. kills who worked so hard deserve it right? How about the ones who use mods to make the monster less aggresive and get a good 2min time? Do they deserve it?

idk what to except and i hope capcom will see it and just give the best reward to all who completed A rank time or else they will just reward cheater and next time more and more will just cheat

I hope they use that to just ban those people with the 7 second kill times on them.

It would be really funny if they pulled the same that valve did with Dota 2 and give those people some coal and a ban.

one of their dumbest decision

still leaves the mod users who aim for a good belivable time... they´re so many forms of cheating out there it is not funny.... just give everyone who got the A the shiny reward :/ anything else is just a leaderboard of who can cheat the best

ATM, even with the warnings, the leaderboards are full of hackers and cheats. I think this MIGHT be a clever ploy by capcom to weed out the most egregious cheaters by using the leaderboard as a sort of hit list. Cheaters cant help themselves, they cant play the game well enough to get recognition on their own, a leaderboard is like a light to a moth for them.

Giving everyone who achieves A the reward is something I would prefer too.

But then it denies the idea of the ranking system.

i higly doubt that capcom will waste their time to check the leaderboard and ban them... without an anticheat they´ll be always cheaters there... even with a good anticheat... thats why global leaderboards are a waste of time and rewarding them is a huge mistake

to have a ranked system you need a anticheat first and make sure it is fair.... capcom failed at the beginning and just make Arena clear time friendlist only as they always did before....

I do not think it is intended like that. I mean, it would be brilliant if they do so - I just cannot imagine it makes sense. From both sides. Capcom who would lay out a honeypot, and cheaters who cannot help themselves. Those are not cheaters from my point of view, those are... people who have a talent to show that they act without thinking.

Real cheaters do it stealthily and not to be caught, aiming for seconds or tenth of seconds.

There were also reports where the arena time simply glitched for some people - in most cases I suspect mods involved, especially those for auto-skipping victory cams and prompts.

Capcom has officially warned them not to upload their times for obvious reasons.

But then again, those are not cheaters just people who do not think about that in very weird ways while some players affected genuinely - without mods involed - already reached out to Capcom support to explain their case of glitch to avoid injustified bans.

All they would have to do is query their ranking DB with people with times that are unrealistic and send a automated ban against those IDs.

Its not a lot of work if they are up for it.

I mean they have directly stated they will be targeting cheaters.

you must be new... crapcom doesnt give single f about cheating, they will ban mods but never cheats

Even if they ban the obvious cheaters there are going to be so many subtle cheaters that it won't matter. Capcom will not be going over every time with a fine-toothed comb.

they also said the will fiX the performance and here we are.

Also, how will they klnow what is a belivable time? cheaters will just aim for that and done

There isn´t any game out there with a proper ranked system. The most are infested with cheaters, modders, exploiters or poeple who just paid others to get there.
Riot might be the only company with a proper anticheat which leads to a pretty low percentage of them.

Sadly it´s getting worse and worse no matter where you look at... so yes, giving everyone everything behind a circumstance (rank A in this case), is the only real solution for everyone who plays the fair way.

They have already made a handful of performance adjustments, and have stated they will drip feed optimizations over time.

Man, yall get out of bed with this much negativity? I worry for your mental health, this cant be good for you to be stressing over the small stuff all the time.
