Tool Kit and Charms
Do we really need a Tool Kit to craft traps?
Do we really need to place charms in the pouch that takes up 2 spots and if so are they worth it?

Like the armor give you 12 point and power give you 8 point.
It's worthed.

For the traps, if you wanna trap and stun the monster over and over again for whatever reason, I think you better make a new loadout for that instead of cramming everything into 1 main loadout.
Most people only need 1 stun and 1 trap and 2 sleeping powder.

the charms give a stat boost by being in your inventory so they are worth it for fights. while on a gathering run then no just have a completely empty inventory saved for those occasions.

yes you need a tool kit to craft extra traps, and barrels for barrel bombs, gunpowder for bowgun ammo and so on. its so you can have extra supplies but at the cost of cluttering inventory space so you can't carry a full stock of everything all the time.

Thanks, yeah I've never got a tool kit and I'm 240+ hours in but I've always had shock traps and stuff so not sure how I managed to get them.
If you find a group of thunder bugs in the wild, equip your net and capture them. It gives you a free shock trap, assuming you don't have one in your inventory.
