We talking about 50k HP per player, for comparison Zorah Magdaros in World had up to 36k HP max with 4 players.
Then we have all this cheaters in the community claiming to clean 50k of HP in 10 min. while harassing legit players.
The Souls crowd ruined gaming.

"Waah the fight is too hard, it's got too much health, it takes too long, its phase change is too hard", very obviously the complaints of people who are either not familiar with Monster Hunter as a franchise (IE Tourists, the position I occupied for MHWorld to be clear), or who are just plain bad at the game and refuse to accept this fact and adapt.
In terms of real difficulty (how demanding it is for build prep, DPS and positioning), Zoh is a couple steps above Xeno, and about a mile below Iceborn Alatreon or Fatalis. It's a very forgiving fight, that has on-screen tutorials in it plus an easy-mode version that teaches you the basic mechanics first.
Anyone familiar with MonHun knows fights can last 15+ minutes, this shouldn't be shocking but clearly is because they've no experience with Monster Hunter. Zoh's health isn't even that big of a deal if you read the pop-up tips (see: functioning eyes) and use the plentiful slinger ammo.
They always, always come out swinging, crying that the game is bad, or the fight is bad, or some other BS to shift the blame for their failures off themselves. Hey guess what? I carted to a Rathalos today but I'm not crying that the monster is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. That's the problem here, and why they get and deserve mockery.
Basically, the difficulty of the fight is easier if people are actually using dust of life when zoh is overwhelming a specific player.
his attacks are extremely slow and telegraphed
his damage is sub master rank
he has no checks
his gimmicks are easy to respond to
like??? do some of yall get stuck on zelda bosses??
This seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding of difficulty.
Something can be easy. Something can be difficult. However, both can be BS.
I don't think anyone would say Bed of Chaos is "difficult". It's literally 3 R1's. However, the fight is BS because it's a gimmick-ridden mockery of a boss. Likewise, having a boss that has boatloads of HP and just vomits AoE attacks nonstop is also, at least IMO, BS. Is Zoh difficult? Not really, but it's a slog of a fight.
Everyone is desperately trying to perform "skill signaling", to scrounge some bits of validation and feel better about themselves.
Sure, that may be so. However, that's 10 minutes of un-fun content.
Imagine punching yourself in the nuts for 10 minutes. That's about how fun it is.
To be fair, I can average 3 minute hunts on most monsters on Gunlance.
I'm not asking for every monster to be that. I'm not asking for every monster to be 20 minute hunts either. I'm simply asking for interesting mechanics and unique interactions.
Zoh Shia is neither of these. It's just a lot of HP, I'm told 50k per person, and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ just ♥♥♥♥♥ out AoEs in the later phases. Is this hard? No, I just hold block. However, it's not interactive nor is it interesting nor is it difficult. It's just padding.
Personally, I started with World so feel free to call me a tourist. However, Odogaron is my favorite monster because it's two apex predator creatures facing off with a lot of stylish action. Do with that information what you wish.
You really are a tourist lol. It's not the apex in any zone it shows up in, nor in any of its variants.
Also
Zoh doesn't do anything that monsters in World don't. If you're really having that much trouble, try a different weapon or bring exhaust damage so it's not enraged as much. This is a cut and dry skill issue.
